3. What about the flights?

Vacation arrangements include round-trip economy-class air travel.

SkiEurope uses the major European international airlines such as Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, KLM/Northwest, Lufthansa, and Swiss International.

These airlines usually involve a connection through the airline's European hub city: Paris for Air France, Milan or Rome for Alitalia, Vienna for Austrian, Amsterdam for KLM, Frankfurt for Lufthansa, and Zurich for Swiss International. (Hint: Why not add a couple of days there on your return?)

SkiEurope also uses the North American airlines with international routes, including Air Canada, Continental Airlines, Delta and US Airways. Since these carriers do not have a European hub, stopovers are only possible in their gateway cities.

Yes, you can depart from any major city in North America. We will arrange your flights directly to Europe by the most convenient and direct routing. (Not always via New York!) The most convenient and least expensive departure and arrival cities for your selected destination are shown on your vacation arrangement request.

During your flight, meals, drinks, music, and entertainment are with or without charge.

Vacation arrangements usually include a manual transmission category "A" economy rental car, such as Opel Corsa or similar, on the basis of one car per two travelers. (HINT: This car is not suitable for more than two people. Upgrades to automatic transmission and larger cars are possible.)

The basic price includes unlimited mileage and the applicable Value Added Taxes (VAT). Additional Value Added Taxes will be applied to extra charges other than the basic price.

The price does not include gasoline, airport fees, local surcharge, vehicle license fee, road tax, snow tire fee and any optional extras you choose on pick-up such as: Collision damage waiver (CDW), personal accident insurance (PAI), loss damage waiver (LDW), ski rack, snow chains and second driver.
